Q. I already have authorized circuit board suppliers, why should I consider another.
Jet supplied circuit boards are Better (every
board manufactured is optically tested [Lloyd Doyle 4100x Excalibur
AOT system] for opens shorts, trace width and continuity. Jet produced
boards reduce incoming inspection requirements, improve productivity
and component yields ), Faster (10
working days for production) and Economical .
Q. My jobs are tooled with another supplier and I can't justify additional tooling expense.
On orders tooler with another supplier there is no tooling charge. Therefore, there is no additional tooling expense.
Q. All board suppliers say their board quality is good - but they don't measure up. Jet boards are guaranteed. Any Jet defect results in your money back or replacement boards.
Q. My individual board usage is up and down by month but I want equal pricing.
Jet quotes pricing based upon customer supplied EAU's. This equalizes pricing during peak and off-peak volume periods. We also offer consignment and inventory stocking programs.
Q. Are you UL "Underwriters Laboratory" approved?
Yes : 94V-0. Q. To what standards do you build? IPC-A-600F
[Class 1,2,3], MIL55110 [Not certified] or to customer spec. Q. What are your standard manufacturing lead time requirements?
10
to 12 working days.
Q. What information is required to get a board quoted and how do I provide it?
All required job quote information is contained in our "Request for Quotation" page. The information may be sent electronically via E-mail, Faxed or Called in. Regardless of method, all quotes are returned the same day - often within an hour.
Q. What kind or types of boards do you manufacture?
1-12
layer boards of "FR" material are considered standard work. We
do stock BT/Arlon/ Rogers for advanced applications. Q.
What is the thinnest and thickest board you process? 0.008"
and 0.125". Q. Are your prototypes built differently
from production? Same processes. Q. What files do
you need? A gerber file of each layer in RS274X format
and an excellon ASCII drill file. We can also work with
AutoCad .DXF, .HPGL plotting files and sometimes hard copy. Q.
What is the largest board you can process? 1 and 2
layer, 17" X 23", multilayer, 16.5" X 22.5". Q.
What do you need to panelize the PCB? A drawing showing
how the board is to be panelized. There is no additional
engineering charge Q. Is Tooling retained? All
tooling is electronically stored. Q
What is considered day 1? All data including gerber and drill
files received by 8:00 AM CST will qualify for that date to
be the first working day. |
